We develop products where user-friendliness is paramount. This means that products are easy to assemble, that the fitter has to perform as few operations as possible and that the chances of the fitter making a mistake are minimal. This makes the assembly process less stressful for the assembler, benefits the lifespan of the products and prevents waste due to incorrectly assembled parts\/products.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Procurement close to home<\/h2><\/div>

We purchase most of our products and materials close to home, namely mainly in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom. When purchasing new products, we try to bundle packages from our current suppliers. This leads to efficiency in transport routes and reduced carbon emissions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Where possible, we outsource work to socially responsible enterprises such as institutions employing people with limited abilities. Moreover, this contributes to the development of local suppliers, local employment and thus to the local economy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Our ambition<\/h2><\/div>

”It is our ambition as an SME to contribute maximally to CSR and sustainable business.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

We notice that customers are increasingly asking for sustainable(er) products. To meet this demand, it is our ambition to create a ‘Responsible Product’. In order to translate this ambition into concrete objectives, in consultation with stakeholders we have identified four CSR pillars that we want to focus on in the coming years. We want to focus on the pillars: sustainable purchasing, chain responsibility, environmentally oriented product development and communication. <\/p>\n

For example, we have started a process to purchase products and materials sustainably, assessing and selecting suppliers on CSR criteria and making transport routes more efficient. In addition, we will eventually eliminate the use of hazardous substances and develop products in an innovative and socially responsible manner. We want CSR to be part of our corporate culture. <\/p>\n

We strive to make sustainable choices in our operations. We focus on the following themes: Sustainable procurement, supply chain responsibility, environmental product development and communication.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Sustainable procurement
\n<\/strong>We strive to procure products and materials sustainably. We want the purchasing process to consider not only price, quality and delivery time of a product, but also social and environmental aspects. We strive to include sustainability criteria in purchasing and development decisions. <\/p>\n

Chain responsibility
\n<\/strong>We want to actively discuss sustainability issues with suppliers. We want to use a supplier code to explain to suppliers why we consider sustainability important and what is expected of our suppliers in this area. We also intend to select our largest and new suppliers on the basis of CSR criteria, among other things. <\/p>\n

Environmentally focused product development
\n<\/strong>We want to constantly innovate with a view to CSR. We do this by already considering the choice of raw materials, quality, sustainability and user-friendliness during the design process. <\/p>\n

We want to reduce the effects of transportation on the environment and ecosystems by sourcing our products close to home.<\/p>\n

We strive to eliminate\/reduce the use of hazardous substances in products, production processes and\/or services wherever possible to prevent damage to the environment.<\/p>\n

Communication
