Where it all began: innovation since 1911<\/h1><\/div>

Imagine: at the beginning of the last century. An engineer from the Provincial Gelderland Electricity Company is riding his motorcycle along the railway track towards Terborg. On the back of the luggage carrier a cast iron cable sleeve. He is on his way to Lovink, looking for an alternative to German cable joints. That search ends well. Not long after, Lovink delivered the first cable joints to PGEM, the predecessor of today’s Alliander. In doing so, Lovink plays a key role in the introduction of the first underground electricity grids in the Netherlands. <\/em><\/p>\n

Since our founding in 1911, we have been building on that innovative tradition<\/strong>. Today, Lovink is known as a reliable partner for high-quality cable joints.
