Extended sleeves

LoviSil® extended sleeves are specially designed for industrial cables or extra armoured medium voltage cables for which standard sleeves are too tight. The extended housing and extra space for grounding and screen wires create a solid, secure connection — even with complex cable constructions. In this way, you offer robustness and future-proofing in one solution with one solution.

  • Compatible with heavy and complex cables – for example, cables with extra armour or screen wires.

  • Universal application – suitable for GPLK and XLPE/EPR cables, regardless of design or diameter.

Enlarged interior space – extra diameter and length give enough space for large cable diameters, screen wires or double armouring.

Improved grounding and screen switching – wider input allows correct connection of earthing and screen wires, essential for heavy industrial grids.

Robust moisture and ground protection – outer shell, polyurethane resin and silicone insulation effectively protect against moisture and dirt.

Ease of installation – based on the same LoviSil® basic concept as other joints: simple, with standard tools, flame-free and without shrinkage.

Applications

LoviSil® extended sleeves are ideally suited for heavy medium voltage cables in industrial environments, grid reinforcements or renovations, where cables with thick insulation, screening or armour are used.
