LoviSil® connection sleeve provides reliable connection for solar farms

Hollandia-Vloeivelden is one of the largest solar parks in the Netherlands. The 20 kV grid route will be equipped with LoviSil® connecting joints from Lovink Enertech. This technology offers both electrical and mechanical top protection and is ideal for long-term applications thanks to liquid silicone technology.

Dual use in a unique location

The park will have more than 280,000 solar panels and will continue to function as a wastewater treatment plant for the Hollandia potato flour factory. The panels are placed at a higher level, so that water can remain under the construction. This clever design allows for dual use.
The location is behind a dike, so that the solar park is realized completely out of sight. By mid-2020, the farm will supply almost 113 Megawatts of sustainable energy.

Sustainable collaboration for energy transition

Solarfields, producer of renewable energy, outsourced the underground infrastructure to WATT Infra. After an extensive route study and engineering, Lovink Enertech was chosen as the partner for the medium-voltage grid.
