On 20 and 21 January, Lovink Enertech welcomed its new distributor for the United Kingdom: Thorne & Derrick. This two-day visit to our facility in Terborg marked an important step in the continued rollout of our international strategy and underlined the mutual confidence in a long-term and sustainable partnership.
Strong foundation for sustainable growth in the UK market
A key role in establishing this partnership was played by Stephen Davies, UK & Ireland Sales Manager at Lovink Enertech. Thanks to his in-depth market knowledge and strong network, Lovink and Thorne & Derrick were brought together in a collaboration built on shared ambitions and long-term thinking. During the visit, this foundation was further strengthened through constructive discussions with the Thorne & Derrick team, consisting of Chris Dodds, Carl Cox, Jon Hewitt and Charlie Baines.

The programme offered a well-balanced mix of strategic and operational sessions. Commercial Director Wietze Jonker opened the day with a welcome and outlined the joint ambition for the UK market. Subsequent commercial sessions focused on market positioning, customer needs and opportunities to jointly develop new sectors. These discussions built on the strong reputation Thorne & Derrick has already established within, among others, the renewables and industrial markets.
