On 20 and 21 January, Lovink Enertech welcomed its new distributor for the United Kingdom: Thorne & Derrick. This two-day visit to our Terborg site marked an important step in the further roll-out of our international strategy and underlined the mutual trust in a sustainable cooperation .
Strong foundation for sustainable growth in the UK market
A central role in the creation of this partnership was played by Stephen Davies, UK & Ireland Sales Manager at Lovink Enertech. Thanks to his deep market knowledge and strong network, Lovink and Thorne & Derrick have been brought together in a collaboration built on shared ambitions and long-term thinking. During the visit, this foundation was further strengthened by constructive discussions with the T&D team, consisting of Chris Dodds, Carl Cox, Jon Hewitt and Charlie Baines.
Proven expertise in demanding industries
The program offered a balanced mix of strategic and operational sessions. Commercial Director Wietze Jonker opened the day with a welcome and outlined the joint ambition for the UK market. In the subsequent commercial sessions, the focus was on market positioning, customer needs and opportunities to jointly develop new sectors. This built on the strong reputation that Thorne & Derrick has built in renewable and industrial markets, among others.
