A large oil refinery in Normandy (France) recently replaced a terminal box filled with bitumen with LoviSil® insulating fluid. Challenge: Bitumen did not meet safety standards
The 15 kV terminal closure in a terminal box containing 400 litres of bitumen no longer met the refinery’s strict requirements. In the petrochemical industry, safety is paramount, so they opted for a thorough and safe replacement.
