Aziz goes for quality in his role as cooperating foreman of the packing line. He has gone through just about all departments after starting at Lovink enertech in 1998. After a number of years of drilling and tapping in the then still cast iron sleeves, he was ready for more thinking. This became the operation of the bagging machines and later the assembly and packing of the socket modules.
Aziz is an ‘all-rounder’ and now feels completely at home as a foreman on the packing line. On the packing line, the outer joints are fitted with the rubber hose, the screws are pre-assembled and packed into the box together with the other parts from the basic module.
Ensuring that everything runs according to plan, guiding people and the continuous focus on quality is right up Aziz’s alley. He now knows that just hard work or as Aziz calls it ‘buffaloing’ is not the most important thing for the success of Lovink Enertech. It’s about a flawless end product, the right products in the box, the quality of the parts, etc. Finally, Aziz likes to make a product that has an important social function: “When cables are not properly connected, this leads to failures in our electricity. A cable joint is a special product after all.”
