LoviSil® branch joint: solution for new charging station
LoviSil® branch joints have recently been installed in Wuppertal for the construction of a new charging station along the A1 Köln-Dortmund. The chemical resistance of this joint was the deciding factor over other techniques. For the power supply, the existing 3-core GPLK cable had to be branched out to a 3×1-core XLPE cable. This was achieved without any problems with a LoviSil® branch joint.
Cable sleeve resistant to chemical influences
The construction involved contaminated soil, a common problem along highways due to oil traces. Thanks to:

- ABS outer shell filled with Protolin® resin
the compound is optimally protected against chemical influences.
