Johann sees himself as a ‘late bloomer’. He studied for an HBO (higher vocational education) qualitification later in life, and ended up at Lovink via his graduation internship. Having worked for many years in the installation sector, he now spends his time designing and developing cable accessories.
Innovation and technical development are key to the future growth of Lovink. Johann feels at home in the team of Development Engineers. This multi-disciplinary team consists of experts with both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, chemistry and mechanical engineering. Customers often have interesting requests, which Johann and his team are very happy to tackle. To bring projects to a successful conclusion, Lovink also has modern and well-appointed lab facilities, including a high voltage and materials laboratory.
To be able to anticipate to all developments, Lovink Enertech believes it is also important to invest in the development of people. Johann is very happy with this, because he knows better than anyone that you are never too old to learn something new. For example, he will soon begin a new course in prototyping. ”Thanks to all the technological developments, the possibilities of prototyping in engineering have increased enormously. And of course, we are always on the lookout for opportunities to develop our products faster and more innovatively”, says Johann.
